A childhood dream becomes a reality ...
Thousands of kilometers away from the desert of Arabia, a young boy would dream of the Bedouins of Arabia riding powerful, beautiful steeds into battle.
He would imagine horses that were strong, bold, fearless, with flaring nostrils and large engulfing eyes.
Many years later, by the grace of God the dream to own such horses would become a reality.
From humble beginnings at age 6, owning a Shetland pony and riding in the small country town of Carolina in the eastern province of South Africa, Al Hafiya Arabians now started a breeding program that has straight Egyptians of selected bloodlines as well as a few pure breeds for endurance riding purposes.
Our stud farm is located outside the capital of the Mpumalanga province surrounded by a large number of wild game farms and safari parks. We are only 30 minutes away from the world renowned Kruger National Park. The 300ha farm is part of a conservation area and we are currently stocking the farm with wildlife which will complement the current wildlife that exists on the farm. Within this game farm one can find some of the most exciting wildlife species such as African Fish Eagle, hippopotamus, a large variety of wild buck and exotic birdlife. This farm is only 20 minutes from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.
Naeem Jina, with the help and encouragement of his parents, wife and three children has decided that the perfect place to start a straight Egyptian breeding program would be at the foothills of the Alkmaar escarpment. Stables with an Arabian theme that allow large amounts of air flow for the comfort of the horses during the hot summer months, have been built.
From the pyramids of Egypt to the wilds of Africa, lies a hidden secret – Al Hafiya Arabians!
